F.A.C.T.S. Educational Training Program

F.A.C.T.S Educational Training Program is designed to provide consumers with psycho-social rehabilitation, life skills, personal development, peer support, and family support, in order to enhance the whole person.

Adult Basic Education (ABE) – This educational program is designed for adults whose academic skills are below the ninth (9th) grade level. This program is open-entry/open-exit and competency based. Prerequisite for this program is at least 7.0 on all subjects of the ABE pre-testing assessments.

General Education (GED) – This educational program is designed for adults interested in obtaining the necessary skills to pass the GED assessment and earn a high school equivalency. This program is open-entry/open-exit and competency based. Online training will also be provided for those adults to obtain the necessary skills and competencies to pass the GED test. This program is designed for those students who have circumstances that prevent them from going to high school and obtaining a high school diploma. Students must complete twelve (12) hours of coursework each week in order to remain enrolled. Prerequisite for this program is at least 60% on all subjects of the GED pre-testing assessments.

Construction- This course will expose students to most of the jobs and skills required in commercial and residential construction in AZ and the Southwest.

Physical Fitness, Nutrition, and More.

Life Skills – a preventative behavioral health program designed to provide consumers with psychosocial rehabilitation, life skills, personal development, peer support, and family support, in order to enhance the whole person. This program is sponsored by Arizona Facts of Life (AZFOL), INC. AZFOL’s mission is to provide and nourish an environment where individuals discover healthy solutions to life situations through self-discovery in group counseling sessions as well as, providing opportunities for psycho-social development. Group Counseling Sessions will provide interactions amongst participants, focusing on the FACTS.

FACTS Behavioral Health Technicians are required under ARS 13-2620 to report suspected child abuse to the proper authorities.
